Updated
Across this Aston Martin V12 Vanquish selection there are 2 listings, dating from 2005 to 2007, to compare with the setting and the part the vehicle will play. The decade breakdown is led by 2000s, whose pages can help you look for quieter background choices to sit beside a more prominent vehicle. Modern and Sports car are the leading categories in this selection, useful places to start if you are choosing the vehicle’s role before deciding on a particular model. Across these listings, black and grey are the main colours, giving you a starting point for a visual comparison before narrowing the choices by year.
The V12 Vanquish arrived in 2001 as Aston Martin's flagship, a muscular grand tourer with a V12 engine and a bonded aluminium and carbon structure that signalled the company's move into a new century. Its screen fame was sealed when a Vanquish appeared in the 2002 James Bond film Die Another Day, and the uprated Vanquish S followed before production ended in 2007.
For productions, the Vanquish is the definitive early-2000s British supercar. It suits stories set at the turn of the millennium, characters with money and a taste for drama, and commercials that want heritage with an edge. Its wide stance and long bonnet look superb low and close.
Owners of these cars are rightly protective of them. Expect to discuss driving, rigging and insurance in detail. CarSeen lists V12 Vanquish and Vanquish S examples from private owners.
